Nicholas Cage proposed to Patricia Arquette on the day they met. She jokingly requested a list of impossible things to ‘win her’, such as J.D. Salinger’s autograph. She got spooked when he started acquiring many of the items and avoided him. They met again years later and went on to marry. – WTF Fun Facts
