Oklahoma’s state’s vegetable
So I’m from Oklahoma and have actually been a part of many discussions about this. Technically it’s considered both. It’s from the same family as pumpkins and gourds, and it’s grown and harvested like vegetables, so really it’s a vegetable. But it’s sweet and eaten like a fruit, making it a fruit. And in case you were wondering, our state fruit is the strawberry. lol
All fruits are vegetables.
