All embryos start out undifferentiated–which is why male and female genitals are homologous structures (the pairs testes and ovaries, penis and clitoris, etc. develop from the same undifferentiated structures). However, embryos *do* have XY or XX chromosomes from the beginning–X always from the egg, and X or Y from the sperm. In that sense, embryos have a sex from conception.

Just wrong. Nipples are formed before sex is determined, it’s not that all embryos start as female you moron smh
