Dangerously wrong fact. You can not simply fill a sleep bank, there exists no such thing. And a whole week without sleep isn’t suddenly fine just because you say so.
While I didn’t write this and agree with you that no one can “simply fill a sleep bank,” such a thing does exist in sleep research, and it would be wise to look it up before being such a know-it-all (who clearly doesn’t know it all). Try reading here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2647785/
And read here for some early feedback on the unexpected results from those in the field of sleep research: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4667377/
There are ways of implementing “sleep banking” that appear to work for some people (see here: https://www.army.mil/article/223605/experts_say_sleep_banking_improves_stamina_for_soldiers_runners). So, not such a “dangerously wrong fact,” as you confidently proclaim.
Really, all you needed to do was google “sleep bank,” and you could have written an informed comment on why you disagree with either the research or the way it’s stated. Funny how that works, isn’t it?
