The Mexican language Ayapeneco (the name Ayapaneco is an imposition by outsiders, those who speak it call their language Nuumte Oote, which means the True Voice) is dying out. It is only spoken fluently by two people, but they refuse to talk to each other. – WTF Fun Facts

This fact is wrong. “Nowadays there are approximately 15 speakers whose ages range from 67 to 90.[4] In 2010 a story started circulating that the last two speakers of the Ayapaneco language were enemies and no longer talked to each other.[2] The story was incorrect, and while it was quickly corrected it came to circulate widely.[5]”
