It is our ignorance to say we are smarter than elephants because we have words. Elephants and other animals communicate within their groups just fine. Animals teach us life lessons by example all the time yet we don’t learn. I feel we are the dumb animals
They are smarter. Their not wrecking the planet earth by overconsumption. We are the wreckers. From pollution, ocean filled garbage, tree killing…etc. now I’m crying
Maybe they are and we’re too arrogant to realise it.

It’s not the quantity of neurons but the number of connections between them!
