Despite the dubiousness, it’s not unheard of for vehicles to get multi-million mile service lives.
The tendency for Ford E-series vans to see 1.5 million miles or more is possibly responsible their discontunuation, as the target market started apparently dwindling, due to customers “already owning E-Series vans”, thus not needing to buy more.
This mileage equates to 57142 miles every year, which in turn is 1099 miles each week. I suspect this is bull.
