One of the most expensive yachts in the world is a gold-plated super-yacht named “History Supreme” worth ~$4.5 billion USD. It’s made up of ~100,000 kilograms of solid gold and platinum plus it contains a wall feature made from the bone of a T-Rex dinosaur. – WTF Fun Facts

@Jiamil Your comments never make any sense.
Stuart Hughes was the source of the hoax. Most news published the story without checking but those that checked found that the photos used were taken from Baia Yachts website without their authorization and the “History Supreme” was never built.

Have to correct myself. It is possible something is made up of something, though that defines as a lot of small objects together building one. As gold in this regard is a mass, the grammatic sense is simply wrong.
Not native to English so I am more sensitive to grammar mistakes potentially, because I try to understand sentences.
I do know though, that if something is ‘made up’ it is a fake and lie. So the fact saying ‘it is made up of gold’ instead of ‘made out of gold’ is a huge hint already.
I think it might be grams not kilograms, otherwise just the raw gold value would be over 6bn dollars, plus its kinda difficult to sail with 100tonnes of extra weight
This was a hoax
