WTF Fun Fact – The Hogben Pregnancy Test

In the 1940s, one of the first female pregnancy tests (the “Hogben test”) involved injecting a woman’s urine into a female frog’s skin. If the woman was pregnant, then within 5-12 hours, the female frog would lay eggs. – WTF Fun Facts
