After his daily 20-km run in 1976, Shavarsh Karapetyan (a retired Armenian swimmer) came upon an accident scene where a bus had fallen into a reservoir. Repeatedly diving 10m deep,Karapetyan pulled 46 people out of the bus, 20 of whom survived. – WTF Fun Facts
